My Favourite Eyeshadow Palettes

We are makeup junkies! Most days, we are makeup free because let’s be honest, there’s only so much time in a day! But when we do put on a full face of makeup, honey we go all out! For me, eyeshadows and lipsticks are my favourite products to explore. Once I find a good foundation, concealer or bronzer, I tend to stick with those and not switch it up too much. But with eyeshadows and lipstick, it’s another story. I am always adding to my collection because there are so many beautiful products on the market! Today, we are going to review our top five eyeshadow palettes! Eyeshadow palettes are so versatile and honestly, you get the best value rather than purchasing individual shades.

1. The Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette $49 (CAD) 

If you are like us and obsess over YouTube makeup tutorials, you grew up on Jaclyn Hill! Her and Morphe partnered together to make this gorgeous 35 shade palette. The colours in this palette are absolutely stunning, and they blend like butter. This tends to be my number one go-to for a more dramatic neutral eye since there are so many incredible shades to choose from. 

2. Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette $65 (CAD) 

This beautiful palette has 18 shades to choose from in peachy pinks, corals, and bronze shades. You can create so many beautiful looks with this palette! I find the colours aren’t in your face or overwhelming, and you are able to create soft and beautiful looks with the shadows. 

3. Urban Decay Naked2 Basics Palette $38 (CAD) 

This palette is a classic. If too many shades in a palette seem overwhelming, this is such a good choice. There are six shades to choose from, and you can make a beautiful look using one shade, or you can get wild and try all six! The eyeshadows are more cool toned which is a nice change of pace from most of the warm toned palettes on the market. 

4. Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Eyeshadow Palette $55 (CAD) 

Ok we are a little biased to this palette because if you have green eyes, this palette will make them pop! There are 14 shades in this stunning palette ranging from bright mattes to soft shimmery tones. The colour “love” in this palette can be worn with so many looks I swear my pan is almost empty! 

5. Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette $70 (CAD) 

$70 for four eyeshadows is definitely a splurge, but personally I think this quad is worth it. There are roughly nine quads you can choose from, and they are all equally gorgeous. My personal favourite is the Golden Goddess Quad simply because the colours complement each other so nicely.
