Ashley & Kayla's November Favorites
Hello December! It is hard to believe that another month has gone by! With the change in the season and the colder weather we had the opportunity to test out tons of new products and have found several of our favorites along the way! We are excited to share with you some of the items that we could not live without for the month of November.
Ashley’s Favorites
Parker and Poppy Reversible Jacket $62 (CAD)
I am obsessed with this jacket from Parker and Poppy! Not only is it absolutely gorgeous, but it is reversible too! The blush shade is the perfect tone and the jacket fits loose so you are able to layer underneath as needed. I have received so many compliments every time I have worn this jacket.
Shiseido Benefiance Wrinkle Smoothing Day Cream $85 (CAD)
Okay, this is definitely a skincare splurge that was absolutely worth it. My normally oily skin has been incredibly dry, and unfortunately I am seeing some wrinkles on my skin that I didn’t notice before. Nothing was helping so I figured I would try this out and it did not disappoint. It is so hydrating and I’m hoping to see some of these fine lines smooth out soon!
MAC Politely Pink Lipstick $23 (CAD)
MAC lipsticks will always be one of my favourite brands. And this colour does not disappoint. This is such a pretty shade of pink! Depending on the colour lip liner you use, you can make the lipstick very pink, or more of a neutral shade.
Britax Boulevard Car Seat $500 (CAD)
We have been on the hunt for a new car seat for Mason as he is just about too big for his infant seat. After spending countless hours researching convertible car seats, we landed on the Britax Boulevard. What sold it for us, is that the car seat has steel bars to reduce forward flexing of the seat during a crash.
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask $26 (CAD)
This winter my skin has been so incredibly dry. And usually once or twice a year out of nowhere, my lips decide they are no longer going to be hydrated and all the moisture is gone to the point that they physically hurt. This sleeping mask helps to keep my lips hydrated throughout the night so that when I wake up, I can apply my normal lip balm and carry on about my day.
MadeGood Foods $5 (CAD)
I am so obsessed with these snacks. They are vegan and nut-free, making them wonderful snacks for you and your kiddos. I love that I can satisfy my sweet tooth without the guilt. Even better? They’re a Canadian company with a strong sense of community, and continuously give back.
NuMe Curling Iron $91 (CAD)
I have been using NuMe’s products for about five years now and their curling wands are hands down the absolute best. I am always asked how I get my curls and this is it. They have some amazing new sets, and some OG wands that won’t disappoint!
Kayla’s Favorites
Lululemon Align II, 25 inch $98 (CAD)
I am pretty sure that I own 6 pairs of these pants. They are my absolute favorite leggings for really anything and everything! I love how soft they are and they are so comfortable. The high waist is perfection and they stay up no matter what you are doing. Definitely 12/10 recommend!
Becca Cosmetics lipstick in Bare $32 (CAD)
It is safe to say that I am a neutral fan when it comes to lipstick. Give me anything pinky-nude and I am a happy girl! Not only am I obsessed with the color of this lipstick, but it feels so good on the lips! It is moisturizing but also pigmented! The perfect formula!
RE9 Advanced Corrective Eye Cream $79 (CAD)
I have struggled to find an eye cream that I absolutely love. However I must say that I really do love this eye cream. I have noticed an improvement in my under eye circles, my under eyes feel so hydrated and I have also seen an improvement in the fine lines around my eyes. I was really impressed with this one! Definitely worth the cost!
Bath & Body Works 3 Wick Candle in Paris Cafe $34.50 (CAD)
I am obsessed with candles. I love how calming they are and how they instantly make the room feel cozy. This candle smells so incredibly good! It smells exactly like a coffee shop and I love how it isn’t too sweet! The perfect candle for the coffee lover!
Yeti Rambler Tumbler $40 (CAD)
If you haven’t had a chance to try out one of these tumblers yet I strongly urge you to do so! They keep cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot. It is seriously worth the splurge! I have one for my cold drinks and plan on getting another one specifically for coffee! The perfect gift for Christmas!
Summer Fridays Overtime Mask $58 (CAD)
I was a bit skeptical when it came to this brand just because I wasn’t sure that their masks would live up to the hype but boy was I wrong! My skin looks so luminous after using this mask and I love how it also exfoliates the skin. Perfect for winter when our skin tends to be on the dull side!
Two Faced Sweet Peach Palette $65 (CAD)
This palette is so gorgeous! I love all of the colors and how you have the ability to create so many different looks. If you have green eyes, this one is for you! AND it smells like peaches! So delicious!
